About Kickoff Clock
Kickoff Clock is a daily schedule-ordering puzzle. Each round gives you a small slate of match cards from the 2026 international football tournament, and your job is to sort them into the order the matches actually start in your own time zone. You pick your time zone, drag the cards onto a clock rail, and submit. It starts in seconds, runs anonymously, and needs no setup or sign-in.
The puzzle is about time, not trivia. Every card shows its matchup or bracket label, host city, and the local kickoff as listed in the schedule, and you convert those into your own day. Feedback is specific: it flags cards that are an hour off, cards in the right order but the wrong clock slot, and matches you missed across the midnight rollover. A perfect daily slate keeps your streak going, and solving cleanly scores higher.
Kickoff Clock is an unofficial fan game and is not affiliated with FIFA or any football organization. Match dates, kickoff times, host cities, and venues are factual schedule data, used to build the puzzle and nothing more. The game is made for short breaks: a daily mode keyed to the date so every player sees the same slate, and a practice mode for extra rounds. Your streak, best result, and high score persist on your device under a namespaced key, so they never collide with other games.
How to Play
- Press Start daily to reveal the day's slate of match cards.
- Pick your time zone so the cards can be ordered against your own clock.
- Drag each card onto the clock rail in the order the matches begin where you are.
- Submit your slate. Feedback shows exact-time hits, right-order-wrong-slot cards, off-by-one-hour cards, and any midnight rollover you missed.
- Switch to Practice for more slates, or come back the next day for a fresh daily puzzle.
Tips & Tricks
- Set your time zone first; every placement is judged against your local clock, not the host city clock.
- Anchor on a match whose local kickoff you already know, then place the rest earlier or later around it.
- Watch for late-night kickoffs that cross midnight into the next day where you are; those are the easiest to misorder.
- Two matches can share an hour from different host cities, so use the host city clue to break ties between same-slot cards.
How the daily works
- Every day, every player gets the same slate of match cards drawn from the static fixture schedule.
- You convert each card into your selected time zone and order the slate on the clock rail.
- Solving cleanly scores higher; a perfect slate extends your streak, and practice mode never changes the daily streak.
- Streak, best result, and high score are stored on your device under a namespaced local-storage key.
About the schedule data
- Fixtures come from a static, hand-reviewed schedule file; nothing is fetched from a live sports service at runtime.
- Knockout rounds can use bracket labels until the matchups are known.
- No accounts, no location prompt, and no official logos, crests, or trophy imagery are used anywhere in the game.
